Hi From The Stray Mama

Hello everyone. A week ago I found a 7 week old kitten in our garage. We live in a forest and our closest neighbors are a mile away so I'm thinking the kitten was dropped off along our road and miraculously found its way to our house. We have 4 dogs, chickens, guineas and goats but have never had a cat as our dogs would kill them and/or some predator would do them in. But now we have a kitten and I've gone crazy trying to find her a good home but no takers so far. It looks like we may be keeping her and getting a companion cat so they can take over a large section of the garage along with an outside attached catio. I feel guilty that she can't be an indoor cat but I think we can give them a great quality of life, even if it is not inside our house. I've stressed so much over this but she is the sweetest kitten - couldn't have been a better cat to introduce me to the feline world.

Thank you! She is so funny and sweet. I'm in the process of turning our garage into a cat room complete with carpet, lazy boy, tv, etc., so we will be able to spend quality time with her and her companion. It's a journey for sure.
