Have you read Natilie Goldberg? She has some phenomenal books out- Writing Down the Bones and Wild Mind. All sorts of writing experiments throughout her books to free up your creative conscience...not that you need that much!

yes, i own that book "Writing Down The Bones" and i read it
about 3 years ago, thanks for reminding me of it, i've got
it in my lap right now, think i'll read through it again

mind you i havent read nor heard of "Wild Mind" - how is it, and is it similar to Writing Down The Bones?

Takes you out of your structured mind and makes you think inventively and creatively. She has a brand new one called Thunder and Lightning, I just saw it in my Book of the Month Club catalog. And yes, I have ordered it! I love her style, her remarkable way of making me burrow deep within to write. I would love to take her class!
