Hewwo my name is Odo,

I recently adopted my first cat, she is 1 yo and 7 mo and her name is Okayu. She is such a sweet heart and loves just hanging around and relaxing.
I joined just in case I needed some first time cat advice. I am nervous that I might do something wrong, I just really want to do everything right for her since she is my special life pal. I love her so much!!!
She is diagnosed with FeLV, but that doesn't matter to me I want to give her the best life. Here are some cute pictures of her!!! I am still struggling to put the collar on her, but we will get there.

The basics I'd say is NO dry food - feed wet, and add a few teaspoons or so of water to every wet meal. Felines are obligate carnivores who aren't suited for plant matter, so avoid any foods with vegetables or fruits altogether. Tiki cat after dark is good, otherwise, you can look into creating homemade cookes or raw catfood in the cat nutrition board > raw and homemade, at the top there are pinned posts about it.. You can also ask around there

Brush her coat daily, purchase a cat toothpaste (C.E.T poultry flavor is good) and toothbrush and brush teeth daily.

The best way to go about anything relating to cats is to set routine and schedule. They thrive off of that. Set routine play times to drain her energy fully at least twice daily, and look into harness training to go on leashed walks..Very good for their mental health.

Don't punish her, cat's don't understand punishment.

Jackson galaxy has some good youtube videos about all things cats, you should go on his channel and snoop around

Good luck, she's quite the looker!
