He's a Tabby, but is mum? Help!

Our new addition, Percival, is clearly a tabby. A spotty one, but a tabby none the less. He's a 15week silver/grey boy with what looks like dashed white lines/spots across his back, and tabby stripes on his arms and legs. White paws, and a white kravat, and white markings on his face/nose.
I can't help but wonder if he's half-something, though. Looking at pictures from his litter, the mother (first pic in the background) looks like she could be some mix of british shorthair, perhaps? The others in the litter seem more black/auburnish.

He seems to be a ticked tabby, that is why we dont see much pattern on the sides. Although we dont have good pics of them...
