Help. With font and tool bar

Suddenly, I am having a problem with TCS ,,

When I am typing a message, I am getting a very tiny font size. The font will post as a regular font, but while typing, it is very tiny.

Also, I do not have access to the tool bar on here. I cannot use the emojis or e add a link, or picture, etc.. The tool bar is there, but is very faint and
not accessible to me.

I was playing around, earlier this morning, trying to add a signature banner... did I do something wrong? Using a MacBook Air 2020, Monterey Version12.3.1
