, I've been gluten free for years, as has my dad. I think the best tasting ones are buckwheat pasta, brown rice pasta and black bean pasta. The other pulse/bean based pastas are pretty good too. Brown rice pasta is the most readily available (at least in the UK ). As far brands go, one of my favourites is Orgran, which I believe is Australian Just be aware that gluten free pasta can go mushy much faster than regular pasta - I never give it more than the shorter of the recommended cooking times
