In my experience, cats will tell you their names.
No, really!  The name will come to you when it's right.  If you've ever seen/read T.S. Eliot's "CATS" or the stage show, then you'll know about this and if you don't, trust me on this.

You will find a name... it will just "hit" you... when the time comes...

The name "Grey" sounds good to me! Gray-Gray as a nickname..

Munchkin also...

just some ideas... does not have to be related to his coloring..... think personality....

of course, this is coming from someone who calls Artie: "Monkey"...and  "Monkey Boy".......

Our cat, Casper, gets called by many names:

Kitty
Puddy Tat
Fuzz Face
Tuna Breath
The Cat
Dammit

He seems to respond to all of them equally... by ignoring you. ;)

Ok so we are going to try.......
Blue Tango

Blue bc of his color and tango bc he likes to aggravate the other cats, when he jumps at them it looks like he's trying to dance.

Like the name.  : )

I like to say my cat reminds me of a baboon when he runs. He looks so funny that I call him "my baboon". Nocturne, however, is my Baby-cat. Poor Nym lost that title when the new little girl came into the house.

Just plain "Tango" works for me. :D

If you ever get another kitty you can name it "Cash." ;)

I like Blue Tango, and you can shorten and see if he responds to one part more than the other too, or one for regualr use, one for naughty, and full name for super-good behaviour and snuggles.

He looks like a Remus to me
because of his "wolfish" gray colour.

Remus and Romulus in Roman mythology, were twins adopted by a wolf mother.

@GitaBooks

Baboon-buddy-boy looks a lot like my cat Rusty. I called him Rusty because he was a feral cat living in some rusty beams and his white fur had a rust stain. He lives indoors now so no more rust stain.

He also has a small head and a big body. He is almost double the size of his sister Kitty.
