My male ragdoll cat (9 months old) have some dry skin like scars near the ears, I'm not sure if its caused by fungi infection since his coat seems fine. Yesterday, I saw the scars peeled off a little bit causing small open wound. Should I give it olive oil treatment or something ? Suggestion needed :(

Are you able to post any photographs to show the skin area? It might help people if they are able to see what the skin / wound looks like.
It is always best to let a vet see a cat when they have any kind of wound or skin problem so that the cause can be treated properly. If it is caused by a fungus or parasite some of these can spread to humans so you need to know the correct treatment.

I would very much recommend a vet appointment for him. They will need to test for a fungal, or bacterial infection at the vet office. Easy to medicate if you know what the problem is. Home remedies will not take care of the problem, and the longer it goes without the proper medication the worse it will get.

Best of luck, do keep us updated.
