Help. Cat ate chicken bones

My cat has eaten a cooked chicken wing and now I'm worried, he is 11 months old and he ate a bone, will he be okay?


I'm really worried rn😰

Take to dvm. The cooked bones could splinter and cause problems.

Most vets have an after hours voicemail message with info on who to call for emergencies. Give that number a call and explain the situation.

I've had cats eat chicken bones without issue, but do take him in for evaluation when you can. Examine his scat too, to see if he passes the bone.

My cat unfortunately scarfs down the odd wild bird before I can do anything…chicken wings are obviously different, but, just to provide you with a bit of hope while you wait for the vet to open. Wing bones are meant to be pliant and lightweight….Good luck! Please do keep us updated.
