Yes, I’ve given my cat cerenia and prednisone close together.

I‘m sorry he’s not feeling well.

Wait, isn’t it too soon to give the cerenia again? My cat was only given it once a day.

I would not give it to him too soon. I hope he starts to feel better. :crossfingers:

It's better to miss a dose than to dose too soon. The kitty is just going to feel bad on a sea journey, because of the constant motion. He probably would prefer a different mode of transportation. There is only so much drugs can do, until the cat either gets used to the motion or until it gets back on land. Don't overdose your cat, please. Once a day as your vet said is the safe dose.

I did give it back then, out of panic. It actually helped for some hours and made the trip a little bit less terrible. Now we're gonna be in a car, he's doing a bit better l, less saliva

Everything is good! We have reached our destination after 15 h of traveling. Musiaka has already recovered!! The 9 h boat ride was awful, but the 5 h car ride went surprisingly well, he just slept on my lap all the time :) thank you all for your quick reaction and advice

Late to this but adding another it's fine for cats to the list.
Our cat that had tummy problems when he was old and frail would be prescribed 1/4 pill for 5 days, then would be off it for whatever amount of time until his stomach started acting up again.
We used to hide that small piece in human treats he liked; small pieces of rolled up deli ham/turkey, push it into a ball of cream cheese etc. He never refused it.
