Want to say Hello! to all and a brief intro -
Proud keeper of four cats that adopted me to care for them.
Two are from a great local cat rescue. An 18-pound male Russian Blue named Sid Vicious (Vasha) and a 8-pound female Dilute Tortoiseshell named I Love Lucy. (both are fixed.)
Two recent additions to the clowder are weeks old female alley kittens that were rejected by their mothers. A tufted-ear Tuxedo named Doorbell and a tufted-ear black long hair named Wanda Belle.
Our neighborhood recently lost our "cat lady" and two guys and myself took over care and feeding of her herd. We started with ten cats and kittens, got almost all the adults fixed and adopted out all the kittens, Only one adult cat left to fix and hopefully that happens Monday. In memory of Steve Cash we named the cats after his cats. Sylvester, Random Kitty and Gibson and a couple names I made up.
The newest kittens Wanda Belle in front of Doorbell. Hand-raised kittens are best kittens. Both sleep on my shoulder at night or anytime I sit down.
