Hates one certain dog

My Eevie cannot stand one of my dogs. She's a six month old puppy, and Eevie hisses at her and claws at her when she's just walking by. Is there anything I can do to try to help stop this behavior?

Maybe try separating them completely, and doing a re-introduction.

Although there are many success stories between cats and dogs, (my own included), every cat is an individual. Puppies exude a lot of energy and Eevie may not appreciate it. Therefore, she may or may not accept the puppy since it is a change in her routine as well as her territory. Be respectful of Eevie's attempts to distance herself and eventually they may not be best friends but tolerate one another. You probably already know this but make sure your cat has an escape route, i.e. safe place as well as high shelves or a cat tree. Another tip would be to tire the puppy out with an energetic walk or playtime and then try to reintroduce the two of them.
