Hartz Hairball Remedy

Has anyone used Hartz Hairball Remedy? My cat yaks up hairballs from time to time, and I bought some of this to try. I've given it to him a couple of times and it seems to help, but if anyone has any knowledge as to if it a safe product I'd really appreciate it.

In a perfect world I would have asked this before I gave it to him, but was too busy scrubbing the carpet...

Any opinions?

The Hartz Hairball Remedy is safe for kittys. The only debate on weather or not to use it, is that it's a petrolium base. Some prefer not to give thier cats anything with petrolium.

Petroleum based products can leach vitamins from the body (mostly Vitamin A). Which is the reason some people choose not to give it to thier cats.

That is why I switched to a hairball control food. Nutro Natural Complete.
