Found the below meme, which applies, at least for the Northern part of the US.

It is nice having the leaves changing over Thanksgiving weekend. However, our Thanksgiving is too early to start decorating for Christmas, as we need to get through Halloween first. So pros and cons.

Thankfully our thanksgiving is usually warm here. My mums don’t usually make it though. I do enjoy my fall decorations; but it feels like Christmas is so much more work for maybe 6 weeks of use. I just don’t think I can be someone who has a tree up in October though. Especially with cats!
