Growing a Human - Again!

OMGosh!! Happy Birthday little M! The bakery did a great job on the cakes!

Not right away. I think everybody watching her made her a little unsure, but she enjoyed once she figured it out!

Lari --Hey do you have one of those fans in your bathroom? Just wondering if that's why J cries at bathtime. I was crying in the shower all winter until I figured out it was the fan making me so dang cold!!! Now I turn it on AFTER my shower! Anyway, made me think of you.

J has stopped crying at bathtime! She still doesn't love me rinsing out her hair, but she's dealing with it.

We don't have a fan, though, I'm pretty sure.

She likes to tell me how her fingers are wrinkly aftet a bath. The girls had a bath last night and this morning she informed me that her fingers aren't wrinkly anymore.

It's one of those overhead fans to dry out the bathroom after showering. Switches on with a light switch. I hated my mom washing my hair. She would make me lean my head back so far that it felt like my neck was gonna snap off!

I'm pretty sure we don't have that.

I officially have a cold. I always seem to get sick after big events.

Guys, J started preschool on Tuesday, and is rocking it.

And then M started PDO today. And she did so good and took a big nap when we got home.

My babies are really growing up!

Oh my! I remember when my nephew was an itty bitty baby! He's in grade 11 now and learning to drive. My how they grow up!

Parents' Day Out (some places call them Mother's Day Out).

They're at the same place, in two different classes, so that's super convenient.

Both of them are there 4 hours - J on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and M just on Fridays because one day is enough at her age, I think.

I enjoyed a cup of coffee without anyone on me and finally cleaned the turtle's tank.

Way to go girls!! And GOOD for you!!

My mom used to take my kids for a while on Fridays before DD was officially school age. It helped so much whether I lightened my mental load by catching up on some housework or just farted around enjoying my meals in peace or worked on a puzzle or watched a non-animated movie…

Sometimes I still want her to come get them.

It'll be a mix. I have a massage gift card from my husband from back for my birthday I'll finally be able to schedule - but I'll also have to use a Friday morning to do the dentist another week.
