Grey tabbie?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I would describe this kitten that found its way into my home :lol: Realised that when describing him my knowledge is limited to "the grey stripey one" :lol:

Here's Milo, tried to find the clearest side on and belly pictures that I have, apologies they aren't the best! :

I would describe Milo as a blue mackerel tabby and white domestic shorthair. Very cute! "Blue" is the technical term that is used in the cat fancy for gray.

In american usage, we use the label mackerel tabby. In other languages they use wording tigre(red) ("as in tiger") or striped, as you said.
With tabby they often mean just classic tabby...

I myself think the american usage is pedagogically the best, if nothing else, the typical M on the forebrow shows clearly all tabbies are connected together, even if they arent exactly the same gene.
