I have been posting about introducing a new young cat to my resident cat, Twyla. I am having issues posting pictures off my iPad, but here are their stories.

I have had Twyla for not quite a year and a half. I adopted her from a coworker who wanted to rehome her because they had dogs, a young child and travelled a lot. She is 11 years old and has mild asthma. I adopted her about three months after I lost my two beloved senior kitties three days apart (both had multiple health issues). She is a pretty 12 lb Siamese/Tabby mix who loves to play, snuggle and meow loudly! Getting her when I did was truly a blessing.

Hooper is the new kid on the block. He is not quite six months old and is a sleek, black house panther in training, with a white spot on his chest and gold eyes. He showed up on my back porch in August, starving and skittish and eating birdseed. After a month of feeding and talking to him I was able to catch him and he has been chilling in his second floor palace ever since! He is a love bug, but slow to acclimate to new things, but is starting to explore the house a bit more. He goes in for his second round of shots this week and to get his neuter scheduled.

I have had cats my whole life, but no kittens for almost 20 years. I'd forgotten what a handful they can be!

Welcome to all three of you! Twyla is gorgeous, and Hooper has utterly stolen my heart! You can see the little imps dancing in his eyes, can't you?

What gorgeous kitties! Did you chose the upholstery to compliment Twyla or was it the other way around. LOL? :flail:
