We have a cat that has taken up at our house. The cat will let you rub him and even lets me clean his eyes, but he will not let you pick him up so I can't take him to the vet. Does anyone know what I can use to clear this problem up. The vet is out he said I had to bring him in. Please help me help him.
Thank you,
Nancy

Unfortuantly green usually means infection. It will require some medication. I would check into traveling vets or maybe just trap him in a carrier. Set some Tuna in the carrier and when he goes in, close the door. It is not something I would suggest leaving alone. Some eye infections could lead to blindness. I hope he feels better soon!

Thank you Sandie. I will certainly try your suggestions. I bought a cat carrier to put him in, but couldn't pick him up. I will put some of his favorite food in it Monday and take him to the vet. Will let you know how it turns out
