apparently there was a strange cat sitting out side my bedroom window. that graycie feels she scared off?i heard a bunch of tapping on my window but was graycies tail thumping the window i looked out after hearing the growling,hissing etc. seen the cat went back to finnish my coffee few more growls later she comes out meowing to me giving the impression of "i did it i ran the intruder off"so ofcourse i had to give treats and tell her good girl

graycie is on the territorial side i think always"patrols" and scent marks around the apartment. confident in her ownership

When we were at our old house in the suburbs a few years ago we would wake up at 3 am to weird panther howls. We would run downstairs and see nothing but it was crazy and primal sounding.

Later we adapted the little panther, a young underweight tortie with delusions of wildness. She used to live in our rental house and apparently didn’t appreciate the new kitties.

Our current kitties were not as adept at rubbing off intruders as Graycie!
