Giving Purraise

Is giving purraise the same as saying "thank you" and just generally acknowledging the reply?? I don't see a sepurrate option.

If I start a thread I purraise most ensuing posts just to say thanks for taking the time to read and give a response. I feel somewhat honoured when others like a piece I've written.

For me, if I'm reading a very interesting topic and I feel as if a particular member has made an interesting point that I agree with, I will "purraise" their post.
