Oh no, the school just shut it's doors for the very last time ever, as it's being made into luxury flats! There was a big ceremony with all the school outside and bagpipers. Then, they rang the bell for the last time!!! I'm gutted. Really sad. I took a video and photographs. I'm going to miss 'my' school terribly, and am dreading the disturbance from the refit.

Sorry for the update but it seemed rather relevant. I'm too upset to think of something annoying that I like.

debbila , it's not really my turn, as my last comment was in addition to my answer about the school bell, and was more of a moan than anything else.


But in the spirit of the game, I'll both answer Mia6 's question and ask one of my own...


Something near me that I like but can be annoying is the whistling kettle on the gas ring. I love the fact it cooks me up bubbling water for my morning mocha and afternoon tea, and I even like its whistle if I'm near enough to turn it off. But if I've wandered off, say, to the loo, and momentarily forgotten about it, then the high pitched, incessant whistling does annoy my nerves to the core.

My Vincie girl as she is the bio daughter of a stray. I tried to save her mom but the clinic said she was very ill with a

If they're washed with towels they pick up fuzzy fibers from them. I use a couple drops of dish detergent and cold water, then rinse well.
