I never drink more than a glass of wine (usually half a glass, and even that rarely) in a sitting, so I've never been intoxicated. I have alcoholism on both sides of my family an decided that I didn't want to risk it.

I've written letters to my representatives stating my concern about issues that some people were afraid to be "on record" opposing, have you?

No.

Do you have relatives in another state of the United States?

Yes, if you count my former SIL in NYC.

BTW Dave this is the thread where we ask have you done this.

Have you stopped speaking to a relative for one reason or another?

Yes

I took my friend's dog in to live with me for over a year when she moved out of state and couldn't get leave from work to come for him. Have you done this with anyone's pet?

We took Jackie (The Beast) to live with us when Rick's father died and his mom went into assisted living. She's been with us now for over a year.

Have you ever taken your cat to the vet for a check-up and ended up bringing another kitten into your life? (That's how we got Mollipop)

No. Not exactly. I went to the Humane Society to meet Lilith and came home with her and her sister. Does that count?

Have you ever gone on vacation by yourself?

Yes, several times to visit friends and family.

I've gone up behind a stranger, thinking it was someone I knew, and said hi and hugged them. Have you done this?

Once, when I was a little kid I mistook some random guy in a pool for my grandfather, so yes. It is actually my first memory of feeling embarrassed.

And speaking of things done as kids, I've been a scout, have you?

No,  I wasn't in the girl scouts.

I cooked a holiday dinner for the first time, last year. Have you done this, and remember your first time?

I did a memorial day cookout last year (first and only holiday meal hosting for me), it was a PITA.

I've been in a situation that, had it gone badly, could have caused an international incident, have you?

Rick and I helped a kitty deliver her kittens. Well, actually, we watched Whisper give birth to five babies. Have you ever watched a cat give birth?

Hydrox knew how to shake paws and he also knew how to sit up. For the last 2-3 years of his life, BooBoo was deaf. He taught me sign language....or as we liked to call it, "paw" language. He would watch the other cats a lot to figure out when things were going on. But he also waited for me. I always call "lunch!" or "treat!" or say, "Are you ready??" when it's time to give them food. He couldn't hear me. But he'd watch me. And I started to put my hands together three times, then I'd crook my finger to tell him "C'mon, buddy!" Then he knew food was there and he'd come out to the kitchen. It didn't take long for the two of us to get the hang of it.

We used to toboggan down this steep hill in the snow when we were kids. Did you ever toboggan?

Yes but I was never a big fan as I have always hated snow and the cold. Even as a kid. I would rather go to school than have a snow day. It meant shoveling the driveway from

Have you ever been to the Everglades?

RIP sweet BooBoo

I drove through it in 2007, along the Tamiami trial. Saw a gator with tire tracks over it, looked knobbly.

Ever been to New Madrid Missouri, earthquake capital?

I have sailed forward and backwards 3 times in a merchant ship between South America and Europe.and took turns with the other 12 passengers to dine alone with the Captain in his cabine.

Have you or have you had a similar experience?
