I've seen stars from an island with no electricity that's only accessible by boat. Have you looked at the stars from any very remote location?

Yes, from a ship in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, but I was young and I don't remember it well.  I do remember being on the top of Mount Mitchell in NC.  We were camping and we got permission from the rangers to take our telescope to the top of the mountain for some late night viewing.  Stunning.  We did not even use the telescope, we were so overwhelmed.

I also live in the country, in a sparsely populated state, so I just have to go out back to see some pretty impressive stars! On a clear night with no moon it really is something special.

Many.  I think they occur in clusters.  When I gave them to the person I was dating, she sneered.  That was a short relationship!
