ALong the lines of the dow you own, only a bit more personal.

 (Be nice!)

I've pulled transmissions and replaced them? Have you? If not, what have you done interesting?

No

I have pulled computers apart and fixed them.

(Please tell me if I'm not playing correctly.)

No, I've never taken computers apart and put them back together, though I wish I knew how..

I've been published.  Have you?  If not, what have you done interesting?

Yes, I've been published.

I've dissected a shark, among other things. Have you? If not, what have you done that's interesting?

Have you ever been to a strip club?

No I can't imagine enjoying that sort of experience at all.

I have set up a small lending library including buying books and serials and end processing them. It was hard work but a lot of fun.

Have you done this or something interesting or exciting?

I help publish a periodical about growing palm trees in California.

Anyone publish anything?

No, but both of my parents did.

I spent many years operating electron microscopes.

Have you done this, or done something else interesting?

No I've never operated electron microscopes. Sounds complicated.

I was an extra in a film.

Have you done anything interesting or exciting?

I'll have to stop this game, my list of interesting things is very low.

One thing I still remember was taking, developing and printing my own photographs at school. It was magical.

Have you done this or something else exciting or interesting?

I once auditioned for "Jeopardy" - didn't get on.

Anyone else audition for something?

Yes. I auditioned for 321 back in 1980. Luckily we got onto the show. Didn't win a lot of money but had three days in a lovely hotel all expenses paid for.

I think you're supposed to follow up with another interesting thing you've done or experienced and ask if anyone else has done the same.

Oops

Has anyone achieved something that they are really proud of.
Not really understanding this game, but the two things I am most proud of are:

Realizing a childhood dream to live in New York City, which I did when I was 25.

Quitting smoking after 10 years of heavy smoking. Took me 2 years to stop, but I finally did it.

Primula:

You have done a lot! Quitting smoking especially!

(I don't understand this game, either, so keep playing and help invent it!)

Have you ever wrecked a car? I have. I've also had two wrecked. Ouch. No one got hurt.

Anyone?

Technically I wrecked a car once.  It stalled while making a left turn across a boulevard very early on a Sunday morning.  I ran back to my house (just a few houses down) to get help to jump the battery.  When I came back, my car had been totaled by someone who managed to not see it even though there were literally no other cars on the road, he had two other lanes, the road was straight and it was bright and sunny.  Shortly afterwards, I learned about "The Boulevard Rule" that states the driver is responsible for getting his or her car across the boulevard and I was found at fault.  No injuries, thank heavens, even from the extremely puzzled gentleman who somehow managed to plow his car right into mine.

I've taken a ride on the back of an elephant before. Have you?  Is there something else you've done that's interesting?

Margd, my friend, please don't ever ride an elephant again. The "owner" of the elephant crushed the spirit, literally, of the elephant when it was a baby to get it to do stuff like this.

What have I done that's interesting? I lived in a midtown Manhattan apartment for a decade that overlooked the wee cable car to Roosevelt Island. That was interesting to me.

This was decades ago, when I was a child.  And don't worry, I won't be doing it again.  I treasure elephants and sign every petition that comes my way aimed at getting them into sanctuaries and out of circuses.

I've never lived in Manhattan but I did once...uh...searching for something interesting here... I did once spend a week on a houseboat in Kashmir where my brother pushed me into the water.  What have you done that's interesting?

Yikes, can just imagine the state of that water in Kashmir. Then again, in Kashmir it could have been very clean.

Something interesting? Well, I married my husband twice.
