Funny scene...

One of the very rare (in my opinion) nice things about the weather turning cooler is that the cats are fare more inclined to stay with me through the whole night. Do you guys remember that Jurassic Park scene when they're all in the tree and the Dr. calls out with his hands cupped 'round his mouth and all those herbivores lift their heads and call back? Yes?

When I woke up this morning, it was dark and all my blankets were wrapped every which away, but I could feel there were several cats on the bed. I lifted my head just a bit and trilled to them, and darned if it didn't look JUST LIKE that Jurassic Park scene! Heads came up all over the bed and the air was filled with return trills. I had to laugh.

What a great way to start the day!

FANTASTIC!! I know just what you mean, the last week we had cool temps here as well, and I LOVE having a cat (or 2!) climb on top of the blankets to sleep on my legs! best part of fall/winter, snuggle time sleeping with the kit-ehs
