I went to the only gas station within 10 miles that has cheaper gas. Most stations are charging $5.85 - $5.95 p/gal. The one I went to was $5.49 p/gal.

Right now, it's between $4.95-$4.99 depending on the gas station.

I filled up at $4.79/gallon yesterday, and it was one of the cheapest prices in our area (Dallas, Texas).

Two days ago, it was $4.99 for regular. Today, at the same place, it was $4.79 a gallon, but I'm not ready to do cartwheels over it just yet.

I put 20 in my car yesterday and it barely moved the needle, $4.99. Coming home it was $5.04. The highest I've seen yet is $5.10. We live around a lot of farm land and much of it hasn't been planted. I talked to a veteran farmer and he said they are stuck between a rock and a hard place; buy the fuel for tractors to plant, and risk gas shooting up dramatically by harvest and having to go broke in order to fuel the combines, or lose their crop. Bad situation. If you have the means, stock up on things now!

It's $4.99 a gallon here for regular. I noticed the diesel is $6.19. That follows through to everything we buy because of transportation costs. A lot of the independent truckers have quit, can't make money with diesel where it is at.

I just came home from adding some fuel to the car. I paid just over $50.00 for 8.9 gallons on 91 octane. Current price for 91 octane is $5.56.9 a gallon.

Where I buy gas it’s $5.35 for regular, $5.50 for mid-grade, and $5.70 for premium. :sigh:

Down a bit today. $4.96 for regular.
I feel like anymore filling your tank is like playing the lottery. :(

I cringe every time that I have to go buy gas. I no longer wait till I'm down a half a Tank. I pick up fuel now after any out of town day trip.

$4.71 this morning so I put 40 in. Took me from below 1/4 tank to just around 3/4.
I remember when I got my first car, same make and model that I have now, and it took 10 bucks to go from empty to full. :sigh:
I saw a video clip from Labor Day, 2001. Gas was $1.40 and people were outraged and saying something needed to be done, and that was a week+ before 9/11...

I filled up---only go down 1/4 tank because of the cost. It is a smaller hit to the wallet.
Gas went down to $4.89 a gallon. Still expensive, even for just 1/4 tank...
