Fresh-Baked Catloaf!

Ah, the Catloaf, an art form perfected only by the feline species.

The classic catloaf, in which a cat sits with all paws tucked neatly under the body, is so named because the cat takes on a striking resemblance to a loaf of bread. Some cats stick one paw out, determined to put their own unique spin on the catloaf, but connoisseurs maintain that such creative interpretation is just a sign of the modern disdain for classic feline art!

I love when they meatloaf like that!  Abby does it every time I sit on the loveseat.  She parks herself behind me on the arm of the loveseat and lets me use her as a neck roll while watching TV!  If I don't she meows and taps me on the head and pushes herself against my head.  lol

  OMG! Love this thread! Sooo funny, we call Eric's cats meatloaf kitties. Bear who has no tail and slightly over weight, and Stache who has no excuse, just over weight! I have to get pictures of them to post!

ROFL! That's too funny. I didn't know all your kitties were calico colored. Most cali's I've met are lap cats, and yours are no exception to the rule.

Jed rarely does meatloaf. He likes to cross his front paws though. Haven't managed to get any picture of that yet.

Spencer doesn't usually meatloaf either. He likes to lay with his back legs stretched straight out. Sometimes his front paws are curled under, or crossed, or bent over the edge of a table.  Katie does the same thing, but she does meatloaf on occasion.  Abby loves to meatloaf!  lol
