Fractured bones

Hi I have a 4 month old Cornish Rex kitten who has fractured a bone in her back leg. She is in a splint.
Does anyone have any diet tips to assist the bone to heal.
What would adding colostrum to her diet do?

The only herbal I know of that helps speed bone healing is Comfrey. You can get it at herbal stores and can get it in a powder or capsule. You can also get it for internal use or as a poultice to apply it externally.
