Just had to share this story:

Some friends of ours (who have never been pet owners) live a few blocks away and found a surprise on their porch last night—a tiny, freezing, and crying kitten. It was a frigid and windy night and she was clearly suffering from the cold, so they brought her in, wrapped her in a blanket, and gave her some tuna and water. Once she warmed up she started purring like an engine, and has been glued to them ever since. She is always waning to be held or petted, and clearly has claimed them as her humans. They took her to a vet to get checked out, but no microchip, so they don’t know where she came from, and she’s so affectionate and social they don’t think she’s a feral. Somebody probably just dumped their unwanted kittens. :( They were going to bring her a shelter, but after just one day they are hopelessly in love, and overnight have turned into cat people!
So glad that this little one found the right porch. :)

Awesome story! So sweet. She looks like a kitten I had from a litter a feral cat brought to my house. Shame on whoever dropped her off. She found a good home though! Thanks for sharing!

How the kitten? Has she told your friends her name yet? Bless your friends and thank you for sharing and posting her photo. Any more photos?

The kitten is wonderful! They’ve named her Winnie and she follows them everywhere and loves to sleep on hubby’s chest. They are “totally in love with her”—direct quote!
