We had this little guy in our house for about two weeks. He was born as a triplelet and usually sheep only have two babies. The mom only had enough strength to take care of two of them so she left this one out in the cold to die.
Of course we couldn't let that happen!!!! He was just the cutest thing and he even slept with me a few times!

My little sis in bed with him, notice the dogs, no wonder they don't mind any pet we bring into the house, they had to get used to it!!!!

Oh I CAN NOT let my Mother see these pics! She LOVES sheep! She's collected them since childhood and gets all excited when she sees live ones. I think if she saw this she'd absolutely melt into a musy puddle!

I am from England but currently live in Yorktown V
he he my grandma had a sheep that had 5!!!! and the mum took care of them all, I was lucky enough to see them being born!

I also remember times where she would bring the newborns in if there mum died or couldn't cope and she use to keep them in a big box in the kitchen by the arga (wood burning stove).

That adorable little face...now I want a lamb!
I really want another one too!
I'm in town now, I'm sure they wouldn't mind too much as long as it was inside! I'll need to take it for walks though

Adorably cute!
such a wee little lamb.

What breed of sheep is he? I'm only used to Icelandic sheep and triplets are really common there and the ewes do just fine with all of the lambs.

I'm going to throw my best guess at it and say that he's a Columbia sheep.
Columbia, Suffolk and Norfolk are the most common sheep breeds in the US aside from Southdown.

Of those 4 breeds, Southdown have woolly faces, and Suffolk and Norfolk are blackfaced.

My pet ram many, many years ago was Norfolk, bottle raised.

I couldn't really tell you. They aren't pure bred by any means. She has some black faced, some white faced, and some spotted. She has a friend that brings a ram over every summer, and it's never the same bred.
