Recently I tried to clip my kitty Mischief's nails for the first time (I know, I know, I should have tried sooner). She's usually an awkward, squirmy cat and is a stubborn little goblin even at the best of times so I was prepared for the worst.
She didn't mind at all! She just laid in my lap and purred, undisturbed as long as I paused to pet her and let her nibble on the clippers. Didn't have to restrain her at all; she just seemed to like the attention. What a pleasant surprise.
Now if only Millie wasn't so squirmy about it. Luckily she at least maintains hers better so they don't get quite as long.
