You have a very thoughtful and caring friend. :heartshape: What beautiful gifts. It's okay to cry, we've all felt this way and, honestly, I still cry after 4 months since Carleton passed away. It's only natural since Monet has been in your life for so long. Hold his memories close to you and remember he loved you unconditionally. :catlove:

It’s been 12 years since my Chrissy was killed. I still cry when I think of that worst day of my life….. there will always be an emptiness in my heart even though I have so much love right now.
Time does bring a dulling, allowing you to live again. We must go forward, the world goes on. We eventually become so grateful for having them share our life, for showing us what truly loving someone means.

I have the same little stuffy, but with a Siamese coat, that I got after my girl, Hek, went to the bridge in February. I cannot say what a comfort to me he was in those first days and weeks. He still has a place in my bed at night, and my new boy, Stax, is fine with that. I hope your little guy comforts you as much as mine has.

as some of you may know, I adopted 2 cats 5 days ago. They’ve been great.
today I’m watching them play with each other and I cried because I wish Monet had that playmate. Cassie never liked to play with him and I knew he would never tolerate another cat.
Then I heard one of the cats jumping off the counter and I cried again, it reminded me of him.

I think about him every day. I still cry often. I miss him

Losing a beloved cat just brings on so many mixed emotions. It's gotten easier for me, now that it's been over 6 months since losing Ruby, but I still find myself getting teary from time to time. For you, Draco Draco , and mani mani too, it's still so fresh, that tears will be right at the surface. Hugs to you both. :hugs:

I’m so sorry for the loss of your beloved Monet. Such a beautiful tribute you wrote. It made me cry, especially reading about Monet was healthy all his life and suddenly became ill and you had to let him go. I went through the same with my cat, Mittens. Like you said, it happens fast and suddenly.
My deepest condolences to you. Rest in Peace,Monet:redheartpump:
:hugs:

The Master of all Tears was alone in the Dark Forest, where no light gets through to his hut.
To end His loneliness, He decided to carve a Creature, who has the soft light in her eyes to enkindle the hut, and be forever remembered.
When He finished carving, He gave her the name Cat.

I'm so sorry Draco.

Like you I often avoid this form too as it's hard. So very hard.

What a beautiful life and tribute to him that you've made.

Personally I think he bit everyone else as a way to protect you. He decided you were his and only his.

Monet is a great name and what a beautiful tuxy!

A dear friend drew a beautiful picture of Monet for me for Christmas. She captured his mischievous personality so well here. Got his little crooked beard and the details.
It made me cry so much. I miss him so much.
