Food intolerance tests?

Hello,

Has anyone here ever used the food intolerance tests that use samples of your cat's fur to test for certain intolerances? I'm wondering if this provides accurate results or if it's just bogus.

Gosh, I have to say I've never even HEARD of these tests before! I know about allergy testing where they can determine allergens, including foods, but don't think they use fur to make those determinations. I've heard those allergy tests are very expensive but quite detailed.
