Food Allergy Suggestions

Hi all,
So my cat has allergies to food but I am also thinking it's something in the environment (carpet or central air) but we are moving in a week... That being said
I have given my cat science diet d/d diet and he started shaking his head for a while but stopped scratching but since he was shaking his head and paws we switched to the Royal Canin hydrolized protein diet but he's still shaking his head and paws.
Any other suggestions? Different things to try?

Thanks! I was wondering if any one had a particular better experience with one brand or the other?

There is chicken fat in his food but from what I was reading that doesn't cause allergies

Hi mrw5641 , were you able to pin down a cause? My cat has the same issue.

I tried a wide variety of canned cat foods but she continued to throw up so Every can I kept subtracting ingredients and have zeroed in on Rawz. No gums,agar agar, green muscles,fish,corn,wheat, soy,starches. I occasionally mix in Tiki After Dark since it has no fish. Small meals 3x a day. Get a flat or elevated bowl to spread out the food.
