Chewey, Pet Smart, and Tractor Supply are out of my cat's favorite Fancy Feast and Sheba wet foods. With Covid going on, I now find all my online stores are out of my cat's favorite foods! Does anyone know of an online supplier that is not out of wet food??

Sheba is near impossible to find. Usually I can find Fancy Feast. Check Walmart and Target. Also, if they are in your area there is a chain called Pet Supplies Plus.

Also I think Sheba is selling some foods through their website via Amazon.

I have tried Walmart both online and at my local store. I tell you, supply is way down both online and at the stores. What I can do though is try another Walmart at another, a larger town. I have not thought of Target, will try that store online. I will also try Pet
Supplies Plus. I know there is not a store named that around here, but I will try them online. Thank you ladytimedramon, you gave me something to go on until this online and store shortages is over with this pandemic :)

In my area some of the Publix stores have a fair amount of the Sheba's on the shelves. Not much FF is available anywhere - there are a few I can get at my local Pet Supplies Plus, but I am not sure they aren't all locally owned franchises (vs. a national provider like Chewy). I do think you can get FF through Amazon, as said above. Also, consider looking at PetCo, and Pet Super Market - although they may also be local franchise operated.

Walmart here usually has Sheba even when all else is sold out.

The problem on sheba is that it's mostly pate or fish which is why I had to stop. I was able to get the chicken and turkey cuts for a bit but Delilah started refusing them.

You are right about Sheba, The only flavors are the Turkey and Chicken pates which Katy is sick of as well. She misses the other flavors and in "grilled" style, especially the trout, her favorite! I will look into PetCo and Pet Super Market as well as Amazon, instead of looking online into the various brands. You three gave me alot to check out, I thank you all!!:):):)

On Amazon, I had to go to the sheba website first, then when I selected what I wanted it took me to the correct Amazon link.

Go to Chewie's and set up a subscription with what you want and how often. Since I set up a subscription, I get the Sheba variety packs I want according to the schedule I set up. In fact, I got a delivery of Sheba yesterday from Chewie's.

They've yet to miss a scheduled delivery

Cat food in general is almost impossible to find...

What I would do is: make a search for the products you are looking for.. go to each ordering site and see if they have it in stock.. You may have to order from cross country. I did...

I got the last case of Freely Rabbit from Amazon... I am on a subscribe and save waiting list with both Amazon and Chewy... for 2 different brands...

This is really getting ridiculous... I mean it..

Try: PetSense, Petflow, PetSmart, PetCo .... I had some success with them, in the past.
Look for independent stores also..
Google... and have your phone and credit card next to you... just spend a day, calling companies..

this is what I had to do...

I wish you and everyone else, Luck!! I mean it...

When you say, you signed up for subscription from Chewy do you mean “auto ship”?When I order from them I always make sure the order is over $49 in order to get free shipping…I order several different flavors from them so now if one comes in stock and another one doesn’t I could be getting a S/H charge every time, right?

Yes, auto ship. I was trying to remember what they called it. Since I started using auto ship, they've never failed to deliver on time. My order is over $50 so shipping is free and auto ship gets me a 5% discount. I think I also got a good discount on m first auto ship order.

Unless you order the same brand/flavor the items might not be “in stock” at the same time…in that case wouldn’t you get charged S/H each time part of your order is shipped?

You'll have to check with Chewie's. But Chewie's is one of those companies that bends over backwards to deliver good customer service. They'll take care of you. The advantage to auto ship is Chewie's now has a lead time on what you want and can work on getting you what you want. Auto ship orders probably get priority to make sure they ship on time.

I order variety packs so I don't have to change my order very often. I also supplement Belle's diet with a couple of different raw complete cat foods and what my wife dubbed as "Lizards & Gizzards" (chicken liver, heart & gizzard) to keep her teeth clean, purchased locally.

Ugh--upset at myself. I did not stock up as much as I thought I did.. UGH..

I am down to 1/2 case of rabbit, in the cabinet, and one case in my stash!! I do not have any more RC Rabbit in cans... I have 2 bags of dry Rabbit, and almost a full one, which Geoffrey is working on....

IF I had gotten my last order, I would have had 2 cases of wet, in my stash...

Spoke to specialists secretary.. so knowledgeable... She thinks DR B would just suggest to give the dry food, along with plenty of water---instead of switching to a different brand... due to Geoffrey's vomiting issues... UGH..
But, she said she would check with Dr B.... if I wanted here too.

I also heard that this shortage is for all wet foods....and a many dry prescription foods... ugh...
What they are able to get, are smaller sized cans with an increased cost..

This is really getting out of control.... you cannot blame it all on Covid and shortages... Not, in my mind.

Oddly enough, in my area the 3 oz cans are the ones that are always out of stock - in about just any brand normally available in my local stores. I stand a much better chance of getting the 5+ oz. cans. The downside for me is that I only have one cat - who is very picky - so I am tossing out some of the food in the larger cans because she won't eat the same thing twice in the course of a week. I can't buy bulk either because there is no telling when she might stop eating a particular brand/flavor.

I just spent 1/2 hour on chewy trying to find wet food my cats will eat….Friskies, which I know isn’t the best but cats seem to eat it better than other brands. But I was able to order some Shiba cuts, which was in stock…Turkey cuts and some pates.
im getting desperate so I ordered Friskies extra gravy wet food cans so I don’t run out….have 12 cats to feed

That is my dilemma too, only 1 cat and she is fairly picky. She only likes Fancy Feast pate but mostly the chicken and beef flavors. She'll eat grilled if she has to but doesn't eat it with the same gusto as she does the pate. I've tried other brands but she hasn't been a fan of any others, but I'm beginning to get desperate not being able to find what she loves. Yes, Amazon does offer a few of the flavors I can't get elsewhere, but the price is ridiculous. Today the FF chicken with liver they have for 24.99 - for 12 cans! I had been paying 16 or 17 for 24 cans! I'm seriously considering giving her 1 meal a day of her dry food which she loves and feeding her wet twice a day. That will cut down on how long the wet will last, the way things are going I think we're all going to need to do some rationing.

I think a lot of the big businesses are taking advantage of the public…
I heard on the news not long ago the big business are still making a big profit in the pandemic….
chewy is still out of the food my cats will eat, whenever I go shopping I always go to the pet section to see what they have, there seems to be mostly Friskies pate or shreds. I pickup some shreds so I have something as a backup til the filets are back in stock. I have to cut it up so they’ll eat it….they’re very picky as we all know how cats can be. I’ve tried getting different brands but that was a waste of money. So it’s back to Friskies and FF. My oldest cat actually will eat some Tiny Tiger can food, at least on some days. And I was able to get some Sheba packs which I will mix in with the shreds to stretch it out since I have so many little mouths to feed.
