Time flies, doesn't it? J Julest ,it seems like only yesterday you posted about Billy the poor injured cat captured you just couldn't leave behind, even though you were hoping to find your lost girl......did you ever hear of any possible sightings of her again?Wonderful update. Thanks for your patience the almost 6 months. Billy is totally gorgeous, btw.
No, I never found any trace of her. Very strange. At least in return I feel I have been able to help another cat who needed care. Billy actually gave me something to focus on which was great as my cat went missing whilst I was at my Dad’s funeral. Sometimes caring for something else is what we need during difficult times emotionallyTime flies, doesn't it? He is a very handsome boy - thank youWonderful update. Thanks for your patience the almost 6 months. Billy is totally gorgeous, btw.
Thank you for helping me all the way. He has come on in leaps and bounds. Six months seemed like such a long time initially but now it is here I realize it was very manageable - not always easy but definitely manageable. Hopefully some other people will get confidence from this when they feel that it is almost impossible. In the end we get there and it is definitely worth it!Support is sometimes all anyone really needs, especially here on TCS..mostly everyone here does speak CAT and has had at least some experience living with these amazing and wonderful creatures so everyone can relate in some way to one another and it helps so much to know your not talking to the average bear that's going to think you're crazy- we are all CRAZY,lol
Knowing people care and understand is often all we really need to find the strength within us to take on tremendous tasks throughout our lives- hearing " Of course you CAN" makes all the difference in the world and someone to give us a push when we need one
You have all it takes to be your own success story,it's a pleasure to be beside you along the way
My friend, sometimes you just KNOW who is going to go the distance - it really never depends on the cat but it sure does depend on the human and setting up the environment- not everyone has an extra room ,an enclosure etc etc it's not a task for everyone .....Thank you for helping me all the way. You and Billy put a smile on my face- introductions are phase two,we will be here for the whole journey, with pleasure!
thank you - although nothing like you if you have 7 feral cats! well done to youWow, you saved his life! Great job & thank you for helping him & sticking with it! I know it's not easy. I have 6 ferals indoors & one outside. You did amazing!!!
Yes, every day he gets better and better. It was definitely a long slow process but we are getting there. He is getting more and more comfortable every day now.Wow! You are doing a great job! looking like he’s on his way! My Walli is loving her pets still and brushing. My husband was able to pet my Sammy the other day. I think he’s on his way to becoming a house cat. He still separated from Joey though. We still have lots of work to do with Joey and he’s the one that’s not a Feral. It’s good to hear these good stories thank you.
Billy looks great- no more scruffy street look- he is very handsome indeedAnother Billy photo - he is getting better every day. I think he has turned into a very handsome boy now that he is healthy and happy.
Right? Cat HeavenBilly is loving that pillow!
none of those on the streets!
I know - this is his his favorite spot now. He scrabbles and tugs at the pillow until it is flat on the chair then lies on top of it snuggling in for the eveningBilly is loving that pillow!

And funnily enough when I got him the only 2 places he would lie down were in his cat carrier that was his hiding space or in his litter box. I had a cat bed and a blanket in the crate but he didn’t like anything that was soft. Now he loves soft, cozy spotsBilly is loving that pillow!

He is - thank youBilly is looking great in his chair with a comfy pillow. Well done!
