Feliway spray

Kittens are occasionally scratching the post but prefer the sofa fabric.
Bought the feliway spray so that I can spray on the sofa areas and then out the scratch post near by.
Anyone tried feliway successfully for cats not to scratch the sofa?

Not me. I use double sided sticky tape, works a treat.

I have not ever found sprays to be a good repellent for that type of behavior, so I would try some type of furniture protection or tape.
