My cat peaches is still on the dmg liquid and has been eating like a pig! My vet thought she had cancer and was going to be put down then I started this and everything's great!
Feline gut soothe is by adored beast and has slippery elm in it. Gut sooth is a probiotic, dmg is to help the immune system. Humans also take it

Vetri DMG Immune Support for Dogs & Cats - Liquid 30 ml

Feline Gut Soothe

There are also vetri L Lysine chews that have dmg. I was considering that but she would probably throw it up

Hello, I was wondering what kind , or brand of slippery elm do you buy ? My Andy cat has taken a turn for the worse, and is going back to vet Wednesday, I am hoping he can give him something to get him eating, and then going to order some supplements, ( I was hoping to avoid another vet visit, and start different supplements, but he has gotten so bad, he only will eat a little once a day, and has recently skipped entire days, I was going to start syringe feeding him tonight, but managed to get him to eat a little bit ). I was undecided on trying the Gut soothe, or Vetriscience DMG, I do not want to try too many at once, so i will know if one is working versus another, i have had him on Smarthealth Stomatitis formula a couple weeks, and thought there was some improvement, but it was only a "good day" and he has been declining in last week .
I've used two brands: Oregon's Wild Harvest and Celebration Herbals. Both are fine! I don't know if it's sold in capsules but I think the easiest thing is bulk powder.

I hope it might Andy!

I ordered some DMG today, since several ppl have seemed to have had positive results, but I wonder with Stomatitis being an "overactive" immune response, can something that is supposed to "boost" immune system work, same thoughts with Lysine, but since most vets have a fairly negative look on natural remedies, or supplements, I have never gotten an answer, do you know, or has anything you have read go into detail on it, i am going to get a probiotic too probably, but wanting to try one thing at a time, so I will be able to tell if there is any improvement

I was but plan on not anymore. Ab is for my cat Maggie with ibd. That's helped with her diaheria which peaches does not have. Check the faqs on vetri science about using both. A question for my cats specialist If they can be used together or if a probiotic is needed in conjunc

Hello friends, I have an older male cat, that I have been battling Stomatitis with, he has had antibiotics, several rounds of steroids ( with mixed results , some giving relief for up to a month, or so, some no improvement ) I was advised full mouth extraction, and around first part of March relented, and took him in for surgery, vet said they were "better" condition than he thought once he did full exam under anesthesia, so he extracted 2 molars, and did full cleaning, and he recovered wonderfully , and was doing super , eating well, and even gained a bit of weight, but now, not even 3 months later he is , bad shape again, refusing to eat, crying, running from bowl, so I am going to try Plaque Off, and wondering if any that had a Stomatitis cat had positive results with it ? If it does not work, then I will be looking at another surgery, with possibly another vet ( the one I went with is extremely busy, and I think maybe he was in such a hurry that is why he only took 2 teeth, because girl told me they had 6 surgeries that morning, and do not want to put him through several surgeries to take all the teeth ) thanks for advice, and reading this !!!
Hi there,
I have definitely had some success with plaque off dusting it over my kitties food and he has stomatitis. He’s about 10 years old now. He always feels better after he goes to the vet when he hadn’t been eating because he gets a shot and then eats like crazy and Before I started the plaque off, he would get to the point where he really stopped eating much at all. Since the plaque off I’ve been able to have less visits to the vet, and the vet says that the plaque off is working keeping his teeth from getting plaque, however the gums still do have an issue. Technically speaking I am knowing eventually I will have to have his teeth removed, but I am glad to see that there’s a lot more time in between having to go back to the vet because the plaque off is working to a point for sure. My Kitty has had stomatitis since he was born. I can see now it’s been quite some time since I’ve been to the vet maybe 2 1/2 months, and I can see that his drool has some blood in it so I know he is having issues again and I will be making an appointment probably next week, again. But he is still eating a lot of food and hasn’t gotten to the point where he used to get, before the plaque off. I hope that helps!

Hi, thank you for response, I recently started my Andy cat on daily DMG , and a probiotic, it has only been a couple days, but I am going to be consistent with making sure he gets it daily, I may still order the Plaque Off too, but read where it takes a while to start improving, and dissolving the plaque, and he had gotten so bad I was hoping for quicker improvement, I made an appointment with another vet in my area that seems popular , and has over a month wait for new clients, so November 12 is appt .
