I just went to feed the cats and opened a can of Friskies 'Saucesations Beef with Creamy Sauce'. I noticed there was some white stuff on top but I'm not sure if it's mold or fat? (Which I know beef foods in particular can be prone to white fatty bits on top) I've only started feeding these in the last few months and only once or twice a month as a treat so I'm not 100% on the "normal" variations in the food.

This is the can I opened first:

I then opened this one for comparison:

Opinions?

I've purchased the saucesations before. It looks like separation to me. Like the particles in the sauce separated from the clear water. If you mix the can up, does it resemble the second picture? Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it bothers you, then chuck it. Or, send those photos to the company in a complaint.
