With a $1000 deductible, I pay approx. $75/mo for my sixteen year old cat.

It goes up about 10-15% per year. Still worth it given what they’ve paid out already.

I may have to take a second look. I was paying $50 per month for two cats, which went up to $70 per month because Mingo turned seven. It's never paid out a nickel, and I've been paying it for six years.

On an $8000 bill last year, they picked up almost $5500 of that after deductible. On a $10,000 bill a few weeks ago, after deductible, they paid about $7500.

Even with a 15% expected increase year over year, that’s still several more years worth of premiums. We should be so lucky to have enough years to get on balance with them.
