Many cats bite when they get overexcited. My kittens do! And they're regular domestic cats.

My boy kitty (a red tabby and white DSH) chirps CONSTANTLY. He's quite vocal.

Also, Egyptian Maus tend to be very slender and muscular. They also have wedge-shaped heads; your cat has a fairly round head.

I would describe your cat as a brown spotted tabby and white domestic shorthair. He is very handsome! Most cats are not any specific breed.

Many domestic shorthairs have a spotted tabby pattern, so it's common for people to be curious if their cats have Egyptian Mau ancestry. However, genuine Egyptian Maus are quite rare, and breeders keep track of where their kittens go. Egyptian Maus have a slender body and different head type from your cat, and do not have white markings.
