Hey there, my kitten has a bad ear infection and was prescribed Tresaderm. Vet said he needs to wear a cone. Have you all also put on cone on your fur baby with using tresaderm? He is very uncomfortable so I’m wondering if it is really necessary. Thanks

Yes, it's very necessary. The more they can scratch at an infection (and they will if they get the chance), the worse it can get, and the longer it can take to heal.
However, I'm not a fan of the hard plastic cones. Luckily, there are some good (and cute) alternatives.
Like a Lion cone
or a soft, Inflatable collar
and many other options.
Vets offices go with the hard plastic cones because they are inexpensive and very easy to clean and disinfect.
