I wholeheartedly agree too that there is too much googling going on, the info is scary and doesn't give the other side of things, or their rarity.

I've subscribed to his blog now and also shared the link with some friends.  One friend (in rescue) said the videos didn't tell enough, but she is knowledgeable to start with.  I told her to just go ahead and sign on for the blog and then she can write him herself.  She liked the metacam thing when i sent her the one he wrote before, for us.  It was just the videos that she felt didn't tell enough.  I haven't watched those yet so I cannot comment, but the info about not giving metacam without also giving fluids at the ame time is priceless and I am going to print and give to my vets.  I have aa "no metacam" and "no convenia" note on all my cats as a general protection, although if there was a good reason and the vets discussed it with me ahead of time, I could then give permission.
