The jackson galaxy kick toy has been redeemed!! (sort off)

Arnold dragged it into his bag to kick it a few times before tossing it back out again.

Well worth the 2 hours to and from the mall to buy it....arrrgh.

And then running from the inside of one bag to the inside of the other bag.........heaven!!

Time spent with a cat......priceless.

Yes it's annoying but very funny and the reason I have bags scattered about says it all when the toy is there and he wants the bag.View attachment 315407
The bags and wrapping paper are still on the floor from xmas day. I dont have the heart to pick them up as they are the cats favorite toys. They have even lost interest in the cat nip.....but the papers and the bags are still a hit!

One week latter......

Just ask the cashier for a couple of large plastic bags and leave.
Or a couple of used cartons.

My cats are also non-appreciative of the toys I buy. The only thing one of them likes is the cat tunnel. Other than that, they prefer crumpled up receipts, plastic bags, cartons - anything they can squeeze inside is a treasure for my cats.

I was watching arnold playing in his BIG bag and realized a danger.

If the bag is too big, the cat can turn around in the bag and twist it closed while inside. I saw arnold doing just that, yesterday. The cat then has no way to get out and can suffocate if it uses up the air in the bag. Arnold can easily slice thru the plastic, but doesnt know to do that.

So.......... no more really big bags (ie large garbage bags) and no plastic bags left unattended where the cats can get them. But they will still get supervised "bag time".

I once had a good friend come into work crying...... he had left some drapes in the bathtub to soak. He only had a small amount of water in the tub, but his new kitten had got into the tub and sadly drowned under the drapes.

We are reminded all the time that plastic bags are suffocating hazard for infants/ small children....same logic for cats.

As I type this greg has come by to visit and express his dismay over the danger of plastic bags.....we are outside....supervised as always.
