My cat made a couple of very loud meows hours apart. acted as if he was dehydrated by drinking alot of water, then started hanging out in his litter box. I knew something was wrong but went to work thinking he would be OK for the day. By the time I got back to him I had to rush him to the 24 hour emergency vet. I am sharing this because I dont want anyone to have to go through losing your favorite little buddy like I did. I admit, I was not familiar with the fact that cats can develop a BLOCKAGE that does not allow them to urinate. If your cat suddenly starts hanging out in their cat box and acting strange, DO NOT hesitate to rush your "buddy" to the nearest vet IMMEDIATELY. RIP LAZYBUTT. I miss you.
