Does anyone have a cordless stick vacuum you love?

I have a very old Dyson animal stick that is finally dying. It’s great for hair but not for litter. I’m sure the newer versions have much better suction so maybe I’d get another Dyson, but wanted to see if there is something else that others like. I have a cleaning service to do the heavy cleaning. This would mostly be for cat hair and scattered litter between the real cleanings.

I used to have one, a Hoover iirc, but it only lasted about three years before its battery died - and it cost as much or more to replace it as to buy a new vac! I now have an Anko stick, but with a cord. It's okay, but not very powerful (but for $32, that's to be expected).

My sister has a Dyson with a charging port. Absolutely loves it and it handles her long-haired small dog quite well :)

I have a Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute. I got it on sale a few years ago. I'm not gonna say i necessarly love it, but it works pretty good. It's good to use between using my Miele.

I have a Dyson. It is good for quick cleanups but will run out of batteries before I finish any kind of deep clean. If I were to get another, I would want one with an extra battery. I have a corded upright I think it’s a Shark, that I use for heavy duty vacuuming.

I think this is what I will go with. I have to vacuum up lots of hair from stairs and it seems like this one would be a lot easier than some of the others for that.

Thankfully it was a false alarm and after recharging my old one seems to be working well again so I can put off this purchase for a while!

For bare floors the Hoover Linx I have found is fantastic. Easy to wheel around, easy to clean and does a good job. The batteries don't last more than about a year but this vacuum makes my life so much easier I don't mind buying new ones.
