Does anyone else find their cats fascinated by snow fall? Post snow related pictures!

Wow, some of you have a lot of snow. We've still only had one snow day all winter and I didn't get any pictures of the cats.

Got a picture of the ponies though. Ponies love snow!

The village of Mice was covered in a thin layer of snow this morning (the first snow of the season).

Oh man, Gohan hates the snow. Our first big storm since we moved was 16 inches in 8 hours and he sat there and watched it, meowing mournfully. He didn’t purr all day and was just constantly worried. It was almost cute if he wasn’t so upset. We keep trying to figure out what his deal is, and all we can think of is he can’t smell/touch/taste/hear it but he watches the world change in silence. He’s one of those cats that investigates anything new and has to “map” everything that changes. I think he gets distressed when something changes but he can’t investigate.

I let Flora out on the catio today in hopes that it would discourage her from wanting to go out there all the time now that it's getting cold. She didn't care about the inches of snow. My plan didn't work at all.

Gorgeous pix! I miss snow so much. MonaLyssa33 Flora looks beautiful in her snowy catio! My ex wanted our cats to experience snow, so he bought a cat harness and leash and I walked each of our house cats out. NONE of them liked it. The snow didn't penetrate far into our catio, so they would go out in almost every kind of weather except hard rain or a sandstorm, when I'd close off the cat doors. Our barn crew had to venture out into the snow at times, though they had all they needed inside, too. Not sure what they thought of it, but they probably preferred their heated, cozy barn rooms.

One of my favorite pictures of Sophie (this was during a late April snowstorm, ugh). I think she was sure she’d be able to catch the snowflakes if she just waited for the right moment.
