Charlie has been getting Bupenorphine for about a month now, twice a day for a uremic ulcer on the roof of his mouth. The ulcer seems to be disappearing. It is no longer red or pink, or bleeding. In fact, it looks like a scar now. I heard that Bupenorphine can be addictive in cats? If so, is there a chart of reference or a calculator somewhere I can have a look at to see if there is actually some kind of schedule that this medicine should be stopped by? I don't want to just try to stop giving it to him because I have no clue if he is addicted. Is that possible?

These are questions for your vet. A vet must have written a prescription for a month of bupe. Can you consult with him/her?

Yes, I am going to put the question past them. I talk with them about every other day with a new question or request.
