Our cats have their own townhouse, they just allow us to live here in exchange for keeping the litterboxes clean, and feeding them.

marsh does not like anything i buy for him as a 'bed' or a 'house'... he's much rather just hang around me, whereever I am. I have long given up on trying to find a bed for him to sleep in, he just uses a pillow next to mine at night
That's our situation, too.
