Be careful with using a human supplement. I would do some research into the recommended levels of omega 3 and 6 for cats. There needs to be a balance. The nice thing about ones formulated for pets is that they consider the recommended dosages in their formulations and instructions.

About that, sometimes less frequently if the Big Guy tells me he's unimpressed with it.

I only started supplementing last month because Chewy had their American Journey that was 50% off. I do either two drops or about 1tsp and mix it with my cat's food. He doesn't really like it... so I only do it about once a week or whenever I remember.

I used to give it to my dog. I would poke a hole in the liquid capsules and put the oil on his food. It made his breath smell SO BAD. I never tried it with the cats though.

I was surprised, I have more trouble with bad breath when I feed too many treats. Like MeganLLB MeganLLB I drizzle it over food, in this case usually some non garlic non onion chicken baby food, and no fishy/bad breath. I have no clue if that's dependent on the brand however.

Thanks guys. I am going to add some to my kitty's food because he has been having skin and health problems lately. I hope it will help to boost his immune system and clear up his skin. I just wanted to be sure that it's okay to give it every day? I don't see it as an ingredient in the regular food he's eating.
I use omega Plus from Food Just For Dogs, it’s human grade and my cat specialist checked it out said it’s top of the line, for 10 lb cat I use 1/8 tsp daily. They eat it with their treat or in their food. Very high quality.
